Boy Scouts' historic vote won't end the debate
Fri May 24, 2013
ggllww, just because the Scouts will allow openly gay members doesn't mean there haven't been any gay scouts in the past. Right now, there are about 2.7 million Boy Scouts (kids). About 6% of guys under 25 identify as being gay. That would suggest that about 162,000 scouts are gay.
Boy Scouts vote to lift ban on gay youth
Thu May 23, 2013
So let me see if I understand this. A boy rises through the ranks, finally achieving the ultimate goal all Boy Scouts aspire to, Eagle Scout. A year or so later, the boy turns 18 and can no longer be a Boy Scout.

Mic, "it has been proven that its a mental problem" you might want to try reading some peer reviewed journals instead of conspiracy rags. I was rooting for you with your first post and then you do this! Nothing like trying to prove yourself wrong!
Pakistan's new leader makes landmark offer of talks to Taliban
Tue May 21, 2013
Trying to make a deal with the devil. The Taliban is very agreeable when they are getting their way. Gee, I wonder what will happen when they disagree with the government?

Mon May 20, 2013
Fed, I live in Florida too. What do you think would happen to our school year if they cancelled classes every time severe weather was predicted? How often don't we have afternoon thunderstorms that could spawn tornadoes, between August and Oct.
Man kills biggest Burmese python ever in Florida
Mon May 20, 2013
They did have a hunt back in Jan. and Feb. but caught only 68 snakes. I thought they would catch hundreds. There are an estimated 5,000 to 180,000 Burmese Pythons in the Everglades. Obviously, we don't have a real good hold on the actual numbers.
High schools take aim at 'Assassin' game
Mon May 20, 2013
30 years ago I would have agreed with most here, saying this is just a game. While it is still "just a game," society has changed. Not every kid playing this game will have a bright orange and blue Super Soaker.
Israeli inquiry: 'No evidence' Palestinian boy in infamous photo was killed by IDF
Mon May 20, 2013
What they are trying to say is that the child was still alive in all the photos and, if he was killed, due to where the father and son were, in relation to where the IDF was, the bullets couldn't have come from the IDF. In other words, they think the child was killed by a Palestinian bullet.
At least 51 killed, including 20 children, as tornado tears through Oklahoma
Mon May 20, 2013
This has nothing to do with politics, nor does it have anything to do with H.A.A.R.P. Whether this has anything to do with global warming or not is open for debate. There is no way to say for sure.
